My mother died under suspicious circumstances.  One, my stepfather never called 911 even though he says he lost his keys.  I'm in the fight of my life in a court battle with him.   He refuses to allow me into my own mothers home, and is dating her best friend.  I believe if someone is having problems breathing and ask to go to the hospital, but their spouse does not call 911, they should be charged with criminal negligence, at the very least.  While I was researching Louisiana Laws, I stumbled across the Louisiana Youth Epidemic.  Knowing what I'm going through but for their parents to be nowhere around, and alive, broke my heart.  So, this project is a combination of aspiring to change our legal system and help the ones that same system has affected most, the children.
