Our mission
At C.A.R.E. Empowerment Foundation, we are committed to coaching youth in Louisiana to work on their mind, body, and spirit. By working with the community and businesses, we teach them valuable skills, give back, and empower them to build a better future.
Our programs
Mind
This is not a program where we relive our most traumatic moments nor talk about them. Instead, we focus our attention on the future and positive acts of work. We teach changing our vocabulary so we no longer speak negative into our life. We Coach forgiveness so their futures are th4eir alone. Once mindfulness practices exist, and educational workshops to empower youth will develop a strong mindset.
Body
Our physical wellness programs focus on health and fitness. However the most workouts the youth will receive are by working on the businesses in the community providing opportunities for them to learn skills in carpentry, painting, gardening, recreation, and to promote healthy lifestyles among the youth.
Spirit
We connect youth to opportunities for community involvement and mentorship, fostering a sense of purpose and social responsibility.
Community
By teaching them to work and give back to their community they're less likely to destroy it.
